Repeat Prescriptions

red_orange_pillsCarol Watts is our qualified in-house dispenser, accompanied by assistant Mo Tregillus.

We are a dispensing practice and are able to dispense for patients who live more than a mile from their nearest chemist. We can also dispense to patients who live closer than this but who have difficulty in getting to a chemist.

Should you require a prescription without seeing the doctor, we provide a repeat prescription service. A repeat prescription slip will have a list of medicines and will show which medicines can be supplied without seeing the doctor. The medicine needed should be indicated on the slip and either handed in to the dispenser, posted or faxed to the health centre on (01548) 831478.   You can now also order your repeat prescription online

The repeat prescription slip also has a section to indicate where you would like to collect your medicine from - either the Health Centre, the local chemist, or other. Telephone requests can be made on (01548) 831478.

Requests can be left on the answerphone but please speak slowly and clearly giving your name and the names of the medicines you require.

Please allow 48 hours" notice for all medication. This allows our dispensers  time to order supplies and have them ready for your collection.

When requesting medication outside normal dispensing hours, please ask when making your request and arrangements can be made.

Prescriptions for dispensing patients, written by doctors during surgery, will be dispensed immediately if available. Deliveries are available to some outlying areas. Please enquire with either of the dispensers, Carol or Mo.
